El miércoles 2 de setiembre se realizó en el centro Cultural de España el lanzamiento de América Solidaria Uruguay. Participaron como invitados especiales: Cr. Enrique Iglesias, Benito Baranda )(fundador de América Solidaria), José Mujica (ex presidente de Uruguay)  y  Luis Porto, en representación de la OEA. Con la moderación de Jaime Clara.
